IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR TRIP
1.1.- Conditions of your booking:
The booking will be confirmed as soon as we receive the pre-paid booking deposit, this is to say, the 40% of the full payment. The remaining balance for the stay (60% unpaid) must be paid in cash in the moment you are given the keys in our office. If this amount is paid by credit card incurs a 1% additional fee due to bank charges.
In the event of cancellation, the customer will not be entitled to any form of refund of the initial deposit. We offer the possibility of a voucher valid for the following year or a full refund, only in the event of mobility restrictions to get to the property.
Check-in and Check-out Check-in: The key delivery will take place in the office in Llafranc Villas between 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m..
Please ensure that you provide the correct arrival time and keep us informed of any changes or delays so that we can provide you the code to access the keys and the map with the location of the property if you arrive outside this schedule. In this case, you will have to pay the total amount of the booking in advance before your arrival. Keys will not be left out unless full payment has been made.
Check-out: The customer must leave the apartment by 10:00am without any extension permissible unless agreed by both parties and keys returned to the office of Llafranc Villas.
Required documents for the journey: These are the booking receipt and the supporting documents of the booking’s holder. As soon as we receive the pre-payment (40% of the full payment) we will send you a confirmation email with the booking receipt.
Maximum occupancy rules: Each property has a maximum occupancy which is detailed on the website. Said maximum occupancy must not be exceeded without any prior notice. Any additional occupants that increase the number of tenants that existed at the beginning of the tenancy may be admitted only if authorized by Brava Rentals and after paying the corresponding additional charge.
Tourist fee: According to the Act 5/2012, from 01/11/2012 a new touristic accommodation tax has been applied in all sorts of stays in tourist establishments. Anyone under the age of 17 is exempt: 1,00€ per person and per day (for a maximum of 7 days) This rate is not included in the rental price and it will be due on arrival in cash.
Bed sheet and towels: Bedsheets and towels are not included either in villas or in apartments. You have the option of renting them with us. The cost is:
Bed sheet – 8 € per person
Towels – 8 € (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel)
In case you are interested in acquiring them, you should let us know before your arrival, to get them ready.
Pets: In case of traveling with pets you must notify the agency in advance as in some properties pets are strongly prohibited. The extra cost is 35 €/week.
Internet: Wifi This service is not included. Extra cost: 50 €/week
You should always order it before your arrival, since that service is subject to availability.
Other extras: Cots and high chairs: 35 €/week
Extra beds (inflatable mattress): 40 €/week
Deposit: Clients must provide a valid credit card number as guarantee for the property and its content for any damages caused.
Apartments: 150 €
Houses: 300 €
Luxurious villas: 600 €
If the property is left in perfect condition and no damage or loss has occured during the stay your credit card will not be charged at all and it will only serve as a warranty for the purposes mentioned of the first subparagraph.
The customer may also opt to pay the deposit in cash. The deposit shall be returned at the end of the stay once the property is appropriately checked: furniture and objects in perfect conditions, conservation and habitability and with the utilities and services available in working order.
Bank checks are not accepted as method of payment for the damage deposit.
Any problem or fault the tenant may find in the villa or apartment must be notified within 24 hours to Llafranc Villas. No compensation whatsoever will be given outside the period of stay if the agency has not been previously notified.
Deposit for youth groups 150,00 €/person for houses and 75,00 €/person for apartments that will be returned one week after the customer leaves the property. The tenant is obliged to conserve the villa/apartment in perfect conditions during the term freely agreed between both parties. The deposit will be returned one week after the customer leaves the property. Any material damage or loss that may be caused within this period of time may be deducted from the deposit collected by Llafranc Villas. Should the deposit not cover the full cost of the damages, the tenant shall be required to pay the difference.
Youth groups are not allowed without any prior notice to the agency and having signed the relevant conditions. If this instruction is not observed, the agency has the full right to evict the tenants if appropriate.
Electricity and water consumption: Electricity and water consumption is included in the price but in case of heating or using electric stove, the electricity expenditure will be charged separately.
Cancellation PolicyIn the event of cancellation, the customer will not be entitled to any form of refund of the initial deposit. In the sole case of mobility restrictions or border closures due to Covid-19, a voucher will be offered for the following year, or the total amount paid will be refunded.
It is strongly recommended that our clients purchase our holiday cancellation insurance (Europ Assistance), which can refund 100% of the money paid in case of illness (COVID included), thus covering the cancellation costs of the trip.
In cases of major changes or unexpected circumstances, Brava Rentals reserves the right to provide the customer the chance to acquire a different apartment with similar characteristics to the one booked. Should the tenant not agree with this change and as a consequence of this fact cancellation occurs, all costs regarding the rental will be refundable. In this case Brava Rentals will not be responsible for any subsequent or collateral claims by the customer.
